Mount Washington, located in central Vancouver Island - 31 miles (50 km) south of Campbell River, 16 miles (25 km) west of Courtenay and Comox and 62 miles (100 km) north of Nanaimo.
Mt Washington Ski Resort is known for it's spectacular ocean and alpine views and boasts one of British Columbia's largest and finest alpine and nordic sports arena's. Mt Washington is also known for it's good snow conditions and mild temperatures making this one of the busiest resort in British Columbia. Winter sports at the resort include alpine skiing, x country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing to name but a few. Currently at 60 ski runs classified as 25% easier, 35% intermediate and 45% advanced there are runs suitable for all skiers and riders. The summer sees the Mountain come alive with adventurous hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders.
