Cathedral Mountain Lodge is situated in one of the largest protected mountainous regions in the world, Yoho National Park. Yoho is well known for it's seemingly endless supply of hiking trails, spectacular waterfalls, towering rock walls and mountain peaks. Every Day Here is Like No Day Anywhere Else!
Wake up to the song of wild birds and the call of an alpine river, to the scent of fresh pine and the beauty of mountain wildflowers in an authentic log cabin. In the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Cathedral Mountain Lodge is abundant in its offerings of outdoor activities (hiking, rafting, fishing, golfing, mountain biking, climbing, horseback riding), scenic vistas and first class comfort. Cathedral Mountain Lodge is located in Yoho National Park, 15 minutes from Lake Louise, Alberta.
Situated only 5 minutes away from Takakkaw Falls, the second highest waterfall in Canada. Stunning glacial fed lakes like Emerald, Moraine and Lake Louise are all within a half-hour drive. The Columbia Icefields Parkway, known as the most scenic drive in North America, begins just 15 minutes east of the Lodge.
Cathedral Mountain features log cabin accommodation and is nestled beside the Kicking Horse River and surrounded by glacier peaked mountains. Our cabins offer a break from the routine hustle and bustle of urban life and in keeping with this concept do not have televisions or telephones. Your purpose is to replenish and revive - because tomorrow you hike, climb, raft, canoe, bike, golf, fish and horseback ride. Share your Canadian Rockies experience with your pet, in one of our select Mountain View Log Cabins. Close to the attractions and activities of Yoho National Park, Lake Louise and Banff National Park, there is so much to do!
The new lodge and authentic log cabins are nestled in the trees at the edge of the glacier-fed Kicking Horse River, offering Canadian Rockies accommodation at its finest. The cabins are perfectly appointed to create an oasis of luxury. Warm yourself by the wood-burning stone fireplace. Indulge in a leisurely bath in the soaker tub. Ponder the serenity of the wilderness while sitting on your large private deck.
