The Pender Islands are known as the "friendly Islands and the "Islands of hidden coves and beaches", boasting 20 public ocean accesses, Hamilton Beach on North Pender Island and Mortimer Spit just across the bridge on South Pender Island, offer swimming and picnic sites.

Eatenton House a charming, romantic B&B Inn, provides excellent ambiance. Our quiet hilltop and forest edge location overlooks the Ocean. Relax in comfort in one of our three large and tastefully furnished rooms, and enjoy spectacular ocean, snow capped mountains and sunrise views. We are within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Silk robes are provided and extra large beach towels for your enjoyment at our outside gazebo hot tub.

The Colonial Suite combines two rooms into one large living space. Design is contemporary colonialwith berber carpet, forest green accents in the moulding, bed coverings and linen.
The Orient Room features private ensuite bathroom, with (shower only). The bedside tables are antique round rosewood with inlay cloisonne enamel tops. An original early 19th century 5 drawer captain’s chest is in deep red mahogany. Other oriental objects pull this room together, including a thick gold edged and brocade bed comforter. Black full length silk drapes create a private sumptuous sanctuary. Individual heat, plus silk robes provide another tasteful romantic touch!

A well-appointed guest sitting room, with fireplace, antiques, wingback chairs and many objects of art, adjoins the large walk-out sundeck, where you can watch the eagles soar or the deer stroll through the property. You will enjoy the silver service, deluxe breakfast with gourmet coffee and fresh baking each morning.

The sub-Mediterranean-type climate (781 mm) 30.7 inches of rain per year makes the Pender Islands perfect for family vacations, romantic retreats, small seminars, golfing, health and yoga retreats, hiking and nature watching.
