We are a 4 Star Country Inn with one, two and three bedroom suites featuring double whirlpool baths, private balconies and king or queen-sized beds.
The 4 acres surrounding the hotel have been developed into peaceful parklands featuring recreational facilities, a white sand beach, gardens and decks overlooking the tranquility of Lake Thomas.
Located only 10 minutes from the Halifax Stanfield International Aiport and 20 minutes from Downtown Halifax, the Inn also specializes in hosting meetings and special functions. With over nine hundred functions hosted annually, you can be sure with this level of expertise, your function, wedding, or meeting experience will be a great one.
The Inn features 40 single and double story guest rooms on more than four acres of groomed parkland on the edge of Lake Thomas. Morning newspapers, in room coffee and wireless High-speed Internet are standard complimentary features in all our guest rooms. Personal amenities include iron/ironing board, hairdryer, remote control cable television, AM/FM radio alarm clocks and individually controlled climate units.
In addition to the above, cozy oversized bath robes are offered in our Suites, Executive and Deluxe guest rooms. All of the accommodations are non-smoking and each room is just a short walk to the outdoor swimming pool, our fine dining restaurant “Encore”, and the cozy ambiance of “Olivers” pub.
Our cuisine has a fine local reputation and a quickly growing national one. Menu items follow a seasonal theme and give emphasis to Nova Scotia traditions. Fresh locally grown produce is used in many entree items, which enhance the flavours of our seafood, chicken, steak and pasta dishes. Guests can choose from an array of mouth watering items such as the Inn's fantastic Scotch Salmon, fresh Atlantic Lobster or tempting pasta dishes all made by our experienced culinary team.
