The Great George is a unique cluster of 13 award winning heritage buildings located in the heart of Charlottetown's historic district. Lovingly restored, each building has a character and story of its own. We look forward to welcoming you at The Great George.
Each of the 54 guestrooms at The Great George are unique and distinct from one another. Choose from the 24-room Victorian Pavilion, the intimate five-room Wellington House, family-friendly townhouses, business-savvy Stable House or romantic Hideaway suites. Deluxe rooms featuring fireplace, jacuzzi or claw-foot tub.
Located in either the Pavilion or the Wellington house, our Traditional Accommodations are ideal for business or leisure travel. Comfortable and spacious, these guest rooms have old fashioned character and personality.
Located in our heritage Gillis House, these efficiency units have a contemporary design in a Victorian setting. Hardwood floors, high ceilings and large moldings are present in these guestrooms.
These "Totally Yours" houses are an economical alternative for the larger family or group of travelers.
The Great George also has Deluxe accommodations in the contemporary Stable House. These modern concept accommodations are reminiscent of a large city luxury hotel but housed in a single heritage house.
Our Romantic Hideaways have become our signature accommodations here at The Great George. They provide the perfect backdrop for that special occasion.
