What better way to experience the polar bears of Churchill than on board the Tundra Buggy Lodge - our 'Lodge on Wheels.' Experience a polar bear tour onboard the Tundra Buggy Lodge - safe, convenient and comfortable for round the clock polar bear viewing in their natural habitat.
The Tundra Buggy Lodge is comprised of specialised modules (two sleeper cars that house 18 and 20 guests respectively with shared bathroom and shower facilities, the lounge, dining and utility cars) that stretch almost 100m long when linked. In the evenings, open decks between the cars enable our guests to truly experience and photograph the bears and the stunning northern lights.
During October and November the bears slowly gather along the coast and when the Hudson Bay freezes over the bear get on the ice and hunt for seals.
